The Normanhurst West Public School P&C Association plays an active role in ensuring our children have access to a great range of resources and facilities. In consultation with the school we are constantly reviewing the needs of our students and in 2014 we created a tax deductible building fund. All donations to the fund over $2 are tax deductible.
There are many building initiatives that could benefit from the funds we will raise, and the two projects we plan to initially focus on are:
- Renovation of the School Hall to fit our expanding school.
- The provision of additional space for the P&C run OOSH service.
For this to happen, we need your support! While we are investigating other ways to make it easier for our community to donate, we are currently accepting donations via direct deposit or by cheque.
Remember: donations of $2 and over are tax deductible and that these funds may only be used to acquire, construct or maintain school buildings & fixtures – as per the Australian Tax Office regulations – and we will fund only those projects discussed and approved at P&C meetings.

As parents we know there are lots of ways we can improve our children’s learning environment, but in order for your ideas to be discussed, we need to hear them first. To do this, we invite you to come along to our regular meetings.
The meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month (in term times), in the OOSH/Preschool rooms. Your input at P&C will also go towards ensuring the needs of a broad section of the school community, are considered.
